FY27 GTM Engineering

Do More With More

We're giving teams more AI tools, agents, and automation, so they can focus on the work that actually moves the business. The goal is to simplify and focus: fewer manual steps, fewer context switches, fewer things falling through the cracks.

The Vocabulary

Claude Is a Tool. Agents Are Programs.

Two different things. Decoupling them matters.

Claude: A Tool You Use

Like Salesforce or Gong. You log in, you prompt it, you get work done. Connects to your existing systems.

Nobody's scared of a tool.

Claude Salesforce Gmail Calendar Slack Webflow Notion Databricks Wrike

Agents: Programs We Build

Autonomous workflows in the background. Each maps to a job function. Agents have skills: discrete capabilities.

P0 (4.0+): Build now   P1 (3 to 3.99): Build soon
P2 (2 to 2.99): Backlog   P3 (<2): Parking lot

Example: TechTouch CSM Account Review Skill

Revenue Impact 4/5 × 25% = 1.00
Cost Efficiency 4/5 × 20% = 0.80
Data Readiness 5/5 × 15% = 0.75
Tech Feasibility 4/5 × 15% = 0.60
Time to Value 4/5 × 15% = 0.60
Cross-Func 3/5 × 10% = 0.30

The Foundation

A Repeatable Agent Factory

Before an agent can ship in hours, the platform underneath it has to exist. The groundwork came first, and it's what now lets every new agent stand up fast, governed, and accurate by default.

Base agent framework

LangChain Deepagents core
Shared agent tools (MCP) library
Per-agent credentials + memory
Centralized customer artifact repository
Observability on every agent action
Self-improving capabilities

Enterprise security by default

Per-user and per-agent authorization
Fine-tuned data governance
Data, agents & apps locked behind enterprise-grade controls

Unified data foundation

Medallion architecture · dev workspace · in progress

Silver layer: 66 tables
Logic review + 4 silver tables aggregated
Gold tables
DLT query optimization & standardization
Data foundation document
How agents are structured: each core agent owns a Role (today, by department), running a growing set of Skills, Playbooks & Tasks, callable across four channels: Slack UI chat Scheduled runs Webhooks

Q2 to Q3

Q2 Lookback & Q3 Priorities

What we shipped May to July, and what Q3 unlocks.

Q2 Lookback · May to July 2026
  • Built a repeatable agent factory. Shared framework, per-agent security, observability, and a unified data layer now stand up a new agent in hours, not days.
  • First agents live in production. Website, Support, Onboarding, and the Finance Command Center app shipped and running.
  • GTM-wide rollout underway. Marketing Ops, CSM, and AM agents live, with a weekly build wave shipping across every function through July.
  • Renewal intelligence rebuilt and MOps cleaned. Renewal Review (deep research) complete; compliance / phantom-MQL and Marketo cleanup done.
  • Data foundation laid. Medallion architecture live in the dev workspace; Silver layer complete across 66 tables.
Q3 Priorities & What They Unlock
  • Command Center app for every function. Marketing (Aug) and CSM (Sep) join Finance and AM → one role-based surface per team.
  • Predictive Intent + Lead Routing to production. Unified fit score from Clay/HG/MadKudu → measurable MQL lift and higher-quality pipeline.
  • Renewal Forecasting in production. Churn risk surfaced proactively on Databricks → earlier saves and stronger NRR.
  • Top-of-funnel agents. BDR Triage and Demand Gen → faster lead response and broader pipeline coverage.
  • Scale the program. Agent observability and owners outside GTM Eng → the factory runs as durable, monitored infrastructure.

More Context: From Prior Versions

Concepts and frameworks documented in earlier versions of this deck. Still relevant, but living in the version history rather than the main flow.

Real Examples: Rob + Patty
